Welcome to "Shooting Star," the Plum Island Beach cottage you've been dreaming about! Situated on the prettiest section of Plum Island shoreline, this 4BR, 2.5 bath home is designed for quiet respite and memorable moments with family and friends. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves, a distant bell buoy or fog horn, and wake to breathtaking sunrises & 'first footprints in the sand'. Spectacular water views from the spacious family room & all 4 bedrooms.
No more than 1 dog max, $100 pet fee - to be collected after the booking is confirmed.

July 2026We enjoyed our stay with the family to celebrate our son's 40th birthday at this beautiful airbnb hosted to us by Joshua. The house was beautifully decorated and gave us a cozy vibe as soon as we arrived! Joshua was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed to walk in to his home to begin our family fun! The only recommendation we would make is there could have been more hooks to dry towels after everyone showered and the ladies in the group would have liked to see a mirror in the bedroom to apply makeup or to finish getting ready while another guest was using the bathroom to shower.

June 2026This newly renovated home has tremendous views of the dunes and ocean, cozy nooks for puzzles, morning coffee, or cocktails on deck. Super comfy bedrooms and the most responsive host. Peaceful beach front with a short drive to beautiful Newburyport. A great family escape spot!

October 2025Joshua’s place was perfect. Beautiful location with the beach a minute walk away. Incredible sunrises seen from the living room, terrace and bedroom. The house was clean, well-equipped and warm and cosy. The kitchen was especially appreciated because we mainly cooked from home and we had everything you could ask for. Josh’s place really is magnificent - ticked every box and more, and we’d love to return when we next visit the US. Thank you for your hospitality Josh.

October 2025We have enjoyed our stay very much, the location, cleanliness, parking, amenities all met our expectations. Joshua was very responsive and provided great suggestions. The only downside to our experience was the construction next door, the workers started their day very early around 7am, so were not able to stay in bed in the morning. Other than that we have enjoyed our time in town and the beautiful sunsets from the side porch.
