THis home was not only clean, fully equipped, and in a beautiful setting, but offered warmth and welcome and a place to have everything needed for a perfectly wonderful vacation. We have traveled to many Airbnb rentals,and this one stood out from all the others. This home is a hidden gem. It is nicely appointed, very comfortable seating areas, open concept living/dining/kitchen very conducive for catching up with friends and family. Well stocked kitchen for those who want to cook an evening meal and stay in for cocktails and conversation. Easy access to the beach with golf cart but equally lovely to watch fabulous Florida sunsets from his dock. Highly recommended, we all agreed it is a place to return for a “chill out”!

I’ve been coming to St Augustine multiple times a year for almost 40 years. We usually stay in the same condos but as my family has grown, we like staying together under one roof. We found Jared’s house on the river. When we walked in, we were amazed. We immediately knew it was squeaky clean. The pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s open and airy. The views from the living room, patio, and upper deck are to die for. The sunsets are unbelievable. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. I always bring more than I need as far as soaps, toilet paper, dry condiments… but I really didn’t need any of that as there was more than enough already provided in the house. We had a blast fishing every morning and evening from the dock. The golf cart provided a lot of entertainment. We took daily rides with all members of the family over to look at the beach or just down to the fish camp or Circle K. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

we had a great time at jared's house on the river. the views were breathtaking and the natural vibe was outstanding; we had fun waking up to watch the birds, squirrels and crabs scurry around as the boats scooted by. the place was easy to find, the rooms were spacious and there was plenty of space to put away our clothes. the ac was amazing, the amenities were all exceptional and the beds, pillows, and showers were very comfortable. almost everything exceeded our expectations, so it was hard for us to leave, and we are definitely looking forward to returning to jared's home for another stay in the near future!

This was our first trip to Florida and chose Crescent Beach and it did not disappoint. Such a quaint beach town. We had plans to do different things and when we arrived to this area we didn’t want to leave it and didn’t want to leave the tranquility of the house.. The house was beautiful and beautifully decorated and had amazing views. The views from the living room and dining room overlooking the river are beautiful especially at sunset. Felt right at home in this home. So peaceful and relaxing. We had almost daily visits from manatees, dolphins, and sea turtles by the dock. Great fishing from the dock (small bait shop just up the road has very friendly and helpful staff/owners) and sunsets are beautiful from the dock. A lot of new memories made. We are already planning our next trip and can’t wait to stay here again. Jared was very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Check in and out were very easy. Thanks for hosting our family. After spending the better half of a year battling leukemia alongside our 8 year old son, we came to Florida for a week of celebration and respite. The home was a perfect place for us to reconnect with each other and our Florida family. The house is huge and comfortable, with large common areas for playing games, cooking, and hanging. We never missed a sunset over the river - taking bets on when we would see the final flashes, marveling nightly at the colors of the sky. We took in many sunrises, easy to get there in the golf cart. Loved particularly: the well-stocked kitchen, the large washer and dryer, the hammock, the grill and all of the grill tools, the boogie boards, golf cart, and comfy bedrooms. We parasailed in St Augustine, visited the sea turtle / whitney lab, took in the coquina at Washington oaks, had many an ice cream scoop at Island Ice Cream Shop. We made so many memories this week. And the house was perfect for a large, sandy, loving family to toast to health.

We had a wonderful stay! Family of 10: 6 adults and 4 kids. The space was perfect and just the right size, we could spread out and also big enough to spend time together. The place was spotless and one the nicest airbnbs we have stayed in. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, spices/coffee/dish pods/baggies etc. We got great use out of the dock, fishing and rented a boat one day from the marina down the road. We loved having the paddle boards and kayaks and exploring the waterway. It was also nice not having to lug all of our beach gear with us, plenty of chairs and gear in the garage for us to use. The beach access was super close, walkable for sure and we never had issues finding parking. Crescent beach is definitely quieter of an area, less going on but still close enough to all of the St Augustine action. Jared was on top of everything snd quick to respond to any questions we had! My whole family agrees we’d stay here again…just not in the best of July!

What an amazing place!! Large enough that nobody was in each other’s space, areas that all could sit together and watch TV or play games, and ohhhhh the access to fishing was fantastic. This home and location was everything we had hoped for and more! Extremely clean and beautiful home with all the amenities you could need. We arrived around 8pm and when we opened the front door to enter the home, we were greeted with the most amazing sunset over the river through the enormous sliding glass doors leading to the back porch. Our family had so many things on our list that we wanted to do in and around St. Augustine; however, we got so consumed by the beautiful views, relaxing, watching all of the wildlife including our daily visit by dolphins, kayaking, etc. that it was honestly hard to leave the home. This beach house was amazing. We spent a couple days here on family vacation and there was something for everyone to do. The kayaks were well used for fishing in the river and the golf cart for beach access was such an added bonus. We loved the included beach towels, chairs and coolers. Whether it was enjoying the peaceful sound of the flowing water in the morning or spending the afternoon kayaking and fishing, the river became the highlight of our trip. Just a short walk to the beach and 20 minutes to downtown St. Augustine. The accommodation itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we felt right at home. However, having the WIFI password would have been convenient. If you're looking for a serene getaway with the added bonus of riverfront relaxation, I can't recommend this place enough. We'll definitely be returning for another stay!

Everyone in our family said this was the best house we've ever rented, and we've rented a lot of houses. Truly, this house is so peaceful and spacious. There is space for everyone to spread out, and plenty of it to host everyone together for meals, games, and hanging out. The best part of the week was the location! To be able to open the back door and enjoy coffee on the dock, take the kayaks out, or head out the front door for a walk down to the beach. We did that walk several times a day and just so enjoyed being so close to the water in both directions. Literally a perfect vacation house, 10/10 and would absolutely stay again should we return to the St Aug area. Really enjoyed being south of St Aug and out of the town congestion, but only 15-20 minutes to most anything you'd want to do. Wonderful hosts!

Jared's home was perfect for our family gathering at Christmas. We had all the space we required along with the extra outdoor spaces such as the dock, the firepit and the large back porch. The beautiful kitchen was stocked with all the appliances, dishes, pots and pans, bowls, cookie sheets, and bakeware we needed to prepare and decorate Christmas cookies, make Christmas brunch and Christmas Dinner! Even though the weather did not support our use of the paddle boards and kayaks, we still were able to walk the beach, take a couple of rides in the six person golf cart, have a couple of bonfires, take in the Night of Lights Trolly Tour, see the fort, enjoy downtown St. Augustine, and, spot a few dolphins! Our family thoroughly enjoyed this exceptional property and never ran out of things to do!!

We had a wonderful stay and vacation. The house was so light and bright. I loved the windows looking out onto the water. Our group had 6 adults and 4 kids and the house was perfect in accommodating all of us. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor space. The only slight downsides we had was the grill was very old and hard to use. We planned on having several dinners in this house and a grill out night was one of them. We made the best of it although the burgers were well done and not on purpose. lol. My advice would be just to invest in a new one. Oh, the ice maker with the fridge is quite off and needs fixed or repaired. It’s just something to note and didn’t impact our stay. The golf cart was awesome and to drive it to the Crescent Beach close by was so much fun. 20-25 minutes and then you’re in the historic part of town. It’s the best of both worlds. To be all together, sharing this home was amazing. We even saw some dolphins jumping in the water one day. Thank you!

Jared is a very responsive and accommodating host. The house is very spacious and clean, and matched the description. Everything was in good working order. The river location is excellent. The beds were all comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking, including a good supply of basic ingredients and other non-perishables. There is also a nice gas BBQ grill. Our grandchildren loved learning to kayak on the kayaks that were provided. The large golf cart provided super easy access to the beach along with being able to transport the provided beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing gear and beach toys. The house has plenty of parking for several vehicles and a boat trailer for our 16' boat. The dock is too high and not deep enough at low tide to tie up to, but were able put the boat in/out at a public ramp just 2 blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. There are several good restaurants close by.

Easy walk across A1A to gorgeous Crescent Beach. The golf cart was great for carting grandkids & coolers etc to the beach. We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! I was in town for work and my family came to meet me. The kids had plenty to do just on exploring the property and the hanging out on the back deck. The golf cart was the highlight for all and the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. We will absolutely stay here again

We had a phenomenal vacation with 6 adults, 4 kids, and a baby. There was so much to do with the dock for fishing, kayaks, paddle boards, a golf cart, the beach, the list goes on and on. We saw so much wild life. There’s a bait shop down the road if you like to fish. The house is stunningly beautiful. Everyone loved the house and we created so many memories. We went to town one night and it was about a 20 minute drive. I highly recommend this home and all it has to offer.

The golf cart and beach chairs were helpful to go to the beach. The location was great - not too far from St. Augustine, grocery store and restaurants. Just came back from spending our 1st anniversary/my 50th at Jared’s home. Simply put, this place is perfect. Peaceful area with plenty of activities, restaurants, and beach, within a short walking distance. Honestly, I could go on, but there really is nothing I can say here that will do it any justice. If you’re looking into a quiet St. Augustine (you’re about a 20 minute drive to town) getaway - you’d be hard pressed to find a better experience. Book it now, do it! 😉

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jared’s place! The house was incredible and very clean. We spent a lot of time out on the back porch and on the little pier fishing and watching for sea life. We saw dolphins and sea turtles and even a sting ray. We enjoyed kayaking and our short 4 min walk to the beach. We visited historic St Augustine one day which was an easy 30 min drive from the house. I had a couple of questions for Jared and he always replied promptly. The house and the location was perfect, very clean, had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our crew. And best of all was the back porch and pier along with the short walk to the beach. It was a perfect vacation for us!

The location is so convenient to the beach (and the golf cart was great for taking my 80+ yr old parents there)! This home was amazing! The ability to access the intercoastal from the back yard and the beach via the provided golf cart made our trip so fun! There was plenty of room for all, the amenities were incredible. Everything was provided, kayaks, paddle boards, life vests, fishing poles. Mornings and evenings watching dolphins swim by. 2 minute golf cart ride from the beach. 20 minutes from downtown and the Castillo de San Marcos. We WISH we would’ve booked longer!! Every day our group said how much they loved staying at Jared’s house! We had 5 adults and 5 kids and we had more than enough room! We were able to stock the fridge and not eat out every meal.
