Meet your Hosts: Joshua & Jared Van Dyke

Welcome to our family-run vacation homes, hosted by brothers Joshua and Jared Van Dyke. Together, we’ve created spaces designed with family getaways in mind, ensuring you have everything you need for a fun and comfortable vacation.

 

Joshua Van Dyke brings his passion for hospitality from the restaurant industry, where he thrives on creating memorable experiences for guests. He loves nothing more than hosting, spending quality time with family and friends, and making sure everyone feels right at home.

 

Jared Van Dyke, with his wife Colleen, bring their expertise in construction and design, with a keen eye for detail and high standards in every aspect of our properties. Known for their adventurous spirit and ability to fix just about anything, Jared and Colleen make sure everything is perfect for your stay.

 

As fathers of four children each, we know what it takes to make a family vacation special. That’s why our properties are large, accommodating, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. We look forward to hosting your next adventure!

Jared’s place was an incredible short term stay for our large group. There were plenty of towels, activities, space, dishware, and cutlery which made everything easy and comfortable. The heated pool and fireplace created the perfect vibe and quickly became our favorite part of the house. Jared was an outstanding host with incredibly fast response times and genuine hospitality throughout our stay. The house is just a five minute walk from the beach which was perfect for catching sunrise, and about a twenty five minute drive from downtown. We would absolutely stay here again and look forward to coming back.

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. First off Josh is an amazing host. All questions and concerns were addressed immediately. Now to the good stuff…..we took our adult kids to enjoy a few days out of the New York cold. We felt like we were at a resort. Pristine. Pristine. Pristine. The homes were immaculate. The beds super comfortable. Very well equipped kitchens. The decor makes you feel right at home, so comfortable and serene. The heated pool was amazing!! The pavilion was a great space to chill out together. My favorite place was sitting on the rocking chair porch, drinking coffee and talking. You CAN NOT beat the location. Quick walk and your in the historical downtown of St. Augustine. We are already planning our trip for next year. Thank you all for offering such an amazing place!!

The Little Pink House is perfect ! Comfy bedding linens and towels make you feel so cozy. So restful after exploring! Plenty of light and seating areas , inside and out, easy to chat , read or take in the warm sun. Lovely, truly lovely. If the cottage wasn’t good enough , the location sends it over the moon! Walk to the historic district, stroll along the water …. And this time of year the Night of Lights ! Exceptional to see the history of St. Augustine, and easy to make your way to the beaches. We couldn’t have dreamed for better! Thank you Joshua and Jared. You made it very hard to leave !

There were many things we appreciated about this house. Several separate living / hang out spaces, pool/beach items provided, walking distance to the beach, good ac/heating systems (we used both), and comfortable beds. There were a few things that could be improved upon (darts were all broken, lack of blackout blinds, not enough hooks for a beach house, and some interesting/unfinished handiwork in some areas). If those things get addressed we would happily stay again! (Also, we paid to have the pool heated and our kids were happily swimming in 55 degree weather....definitely worth it!)

My family and I had a wonderful time! The house has many spacious rooms and balconies to enjoy the gorgeous views of the water and the lighthouse. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal. There were so many beautiful spaces in the home. We especially enjoyed the garage game room and pool! What an amazing stay! Thank you!
