Meet your Hosts: Joshua & Jared Van Dyke

Welcome to our family-run vacation homes, hosted by brothers Joshua and Jared Van Dyke. Together, we’ve created spaces designed with family getaways in mind, ensuring you have everything you need for a fun and comfortable vacation.

 

Joshua Van Dyke brings his passion for hospitality from the restaurant industry, where he thrives on creating memorable experiences for guests. He loves nothing more than hosting, spending quality time with family and friends, and making sure everyone feels right at home.

 

Jared Van Dyke, with his wife Colleen, bring their expertise in construction and design, with a keen eye for detail and high standards in every aspect of our properties. Known for their adventurous spirit and ability to fix just about anything, Jared and Colleen make sure everything is perfect for your stay.

 

As fathers of four children each, we know what it takes to make a family vacation special. That’s why our properties are large, accommodating, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. We look forward to hosting your next adventure!

This was our family’s second time staying here. The house is very spacious and there is enough room for everyone. Pool was great for the kids. House is well supplied and even has beach toys, wagon, and pool floats. Host was very responsive to a few minor issues we had. Beach is about a 5 minute walk but the best beach I have been too. Wide open and it’s almost like you are the only people there. The beach access has quite a few stairs so just be aware with little kids and wagons. Our family loves this house and could not recommend it more!

The house was perfect for a large family vacation. We had 4 generations come together to celebrate our grandmother’s 90th birthday and we couldn’t ask for a better stay. The home is beautiful, large enough for everyone to have their own space and very accommodating for everyone’s needs. Fully stocked-we were able to cook and eat at home and anything you could need was there. We had such a wonderful time and hope to be back-beautiful memories were made! Love the location and will always think fondly of the lighthouse view when we look back on our trip to St. Augustine.

Amazing Air B&B rental. We brought our family of 9 (4 generations!) together for a getaway and this home was absolutely perfect for our needs. Everyone loved their individual bedroom and the entertainment area on the first level was perfect for the adult kids to hang out after hours for karaoke and games with no noise for others sleeping. Watched the beautiful sunrise every morning from the second floor patio with the scenic view of the lagoon, trees and birds making this so tranquil. The pool has a beautiful seating and entertaining area perfect for group cocktails or dining. Oh yeah, swimming too :) Jared and Joshua were gracious and responsive and have provided an excellent "compound" for family get togethers. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and HUGE home. Lots of parking. Perfect for our large group with plenty of space to spread out or gather together. Short walk to the beach from the quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants, shopping and downtown St. Augustine. We had an issue with the air conditioning one afternoon and it was taken care of within the hour we notified our hosts! Talk about responsive!!

Took our family of 13 for an extended weekend beach vacation. And this house was perfect! Besides all the necessary 7 bedrooms, the common areas were perfect for our crew. Yes, all of us fit around the dining room table! It is an easy drive to St. Augustine and a short walk to the beach. Beach access could be an issue as there are several short flights of stairs to get to the beach. Could be an issue if taking a lot of stuff to the beach. But beach car access is allowed, so you could just drive on the beach with your stuff. If we come back to St. Augustine, we could try to stay in this house again.

The house was nicer then even the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable and we were very happy to see there were plenty of towels and plates etc. The furniture was comfortable and there were very nicely decorated rooms . Jarred was super responsive when we had an issue with elevator and had it handled quickly. We would stay at their property again. Highly recommend.
